Jesse Jackson and the Chicago Nightclub

It looks as if Jesse Jackson is protecting the owners of this club by accusing the city of being negligent: they should have closed the club down, and didn’t, so the club isn’t responsible for what happaned. He wants an independent investigation. All of this is odd; there is more here than meets the eye, I am betting. Here is a longer story on the Mayor’s reaction and the various accusations that are being made.
