As this MSNBC article makes clear, the Germans have some very serious economic problems. Does this help explain why Schroeder is trying to keep the focus on Americas Iraq policy?
With all due respect the true skeptic, looks at the farce that is the UN and sees it as a convinient political tool for extending the drama/duration of war with Iraq in order to serve both the interests(in the crude sense of the word) of the European and American leaders, whose respective economies are down to cooking on charcoal rather than butane. Immagine 50 naked Emperors, tugging at the otherwise insignificant blue loin cloth which is the UN. I am not this skeptical yet, and would love to be proved wrong, but if we arent in Iraq by May...
What was the conclusion about germany's economy?
