Dean Wins D.C. (non-binding) Primary

This is a report of Howard Dean’s victory in the non-binding D.C. primary. Dean won 43%, Sharpton 34%, Mosley-Braun 12%, and Kucinich 8%. The other Democratic hopefuls sat out the primary.

OK, so Dean won - ho hum - but Sharpton 2nd with 34% ?!?! What are these folks thinking?!? Can anyone remind me what the press reaction was when David Duke received public support during his political career? A racist, hate-monger on the Left gets 34% of the vote in a non-binding primary and no one bats an eye. If a racist, hate-monger on the Right received the same it would be shouted from ever media outlet how the Right supports racism.
