Putin: Saddam was Planning U.S. Attacks

Without wavering in its opposition to the U.S.-led coalition’s war in Iraq, Russian Prime Minister, Vladimir Putin now admits that "Russia gave the Bush administration intelligence after the September 11 attacks that suggested Saddam Hussein’s regime in Iraq was preparing attacks in the United States." Oh what a tangled web we weave...

Let’s see, the post said that the intelligence came after 9/11 and concerned Iraq "preparing" for attacks in the US. Your ever so lucid point is that there wasn’t any past tense involvement in terrorist attacks. How clever of you to point out something which conforms to the blog post. I suppose that the web of deceit is in the eyes of the inferior coffee drinker. And I also suppose that the proper response given the Russian intelligence about preparations to attack was to do nothing, or to leave it up to the UN and Russia’s veto. Me thinks that you have too much foam in your latte.
Actually "Seattle’s Best" (its a pity you lack the courage to identify yourself by either your real name or whatever monicker you normally post under, by the way), what I did was to present the FULL story. Whereas Nathaniel was content to post only that information which was favorable to Bush, I simply saw fit to - to paraphrase Paul Harvey - offer the rest of the story.

Starbuck -- It sounds to me as if the rest of the world cannot see the "evidence" you have. You are launching a preemptive strike against a "soverign individual". Where is the evidence?
I would think that if I followed your link, I should be able to see it. Sounds a little like the arguements you’ve tried to make against the war in Iraq, correct?
