You saw on the news last night that Kerry went to Wendys (probably his frist trip ever) to buy the Edwards their anniversary lunch. What you didnt see on the news is that when he approached four Marines to make nice, the Marines wouldnt have it. One of them, off to Iraq in a few weeks, said: "I speak for all of us. We think that we are doing the right thing in Iraq." Another: "Im 100 percent against [him]."
Notice they didnt scream at Kerry, or call him names (like Hitler maybe), or accuse him of lying, or burn him in effigy.
Class acts. I know which side I want to be on.
Short, simple, to the point. Well said Marine! Sounds like the soldiers that Robert Alt talked to in Iraq. Wish things like this made the press.
I doubt that you will find any Marines or wives of Marines that oppose this war. Would you be willing to kill and die for an unjust war? I believe that many (not all) members of the military refuse to believe that the war is wrong because such a belief would make their jobs so much more difficult.
You want to see some real dissing, just let George Bush try and hold a public rally where all the guests dident sign oaths of support.
Get out of your bubble George, let us tell you what we really think of your policys.
