Arkansas measure banning gay marriage

The Arkansas Supreme Court refused to strike from the November ballot a proposed amendment to the state constitution banning gay marriage and civil unions.

Is gay marriage definitely on the Ohio ballot? I’ve seen nothing recently on this, just hearsay.

It will be on the ballot. See here for the ballot language.

The gay marriage ballot issue was, some say, a clever ploy to draw out the Religious Right vote, of whom too many stayed home in 2000, in "Ohio. Ohio. And Ohio" (that’s Rove’s assessment of the most important battleground state), in November.
