Since they cannot deny that in the national polls Kerry is behind, and yet some ten of the battleground states are "too close to call," (RealClear calls them toss-ups) it is now possible--so say these wise ones--that Bush may win the popular vote while Kerry will win the electoral college. This will not happen.
