Zogby

Bush has apparently gained three points in the latest Zogby tracking poll, bringing him exactly even with Kerry. As earlier polls have suggested, newly registered voters lean toward Kerry by a 49-42 margin, while those who have voted at least once before prefer Bush, 48 to 44.

Latest indication that the election is hotly contested:
A 15-passenger van full of Amish men (no doubt coming home from work) drove past me in rush hour yesterday on Interstate 77 in Stark County. The men were holding up homemade cardboard-Magic Marker signs that read: "Vote 4 Bush."

Even the Amish are out campaigning!

Bush is up six points in the Washington Post poll now too. We’ll see how he holds out after Wednesday night. Hopefully this debate will be as good as the last two.

I do not trust the Zogby polls at all. Seems they have lost much of the accuracy they once had. I could be wrong, but to me, I believe Americans do not respond well to anger. Kerry’s whole campaign seems to be Bush is all wrong, he’s angry about it, and he has a plan. He can’t even bring himself to applaude the elections in Afganastan. When Americans vote, they will choose to vote for a prooven leader, or Senator with a vauge idea of what he wants to accomplish. I firmly believe Bush will win the day at 52% to 46% with an electoral count of 320+ to 220ish. Not a landslide, but a decisive win.
