Bobby Jindal

Bobby Jindal (R) was elected to Congress from Louisiana. He ran for governor two years ago and lost. He is a man worth watching, enthusiastically supported by Powerline.

Jindals election indeed is exciting (I wish my state had elected him governor). Keep in mind, though, that he won a very safe Republican seat.
While it is rare that Louisiana has a chance to brag, I wonder if any other congressional delegation has a greater percentage of Rhodes scholars (Both Senator-elect David Vitter and Congressman-elect Jindal).
