Strengthening Constitutional Self-Government

No Left Turns

Decline and Fall. . .

In 1976, Gerald Ford lost Ohio by about 11,000 votes to Jimmy Carter, but chose not to challenge the result, even though a reversal would have kept him in office. (He also trailed Carter by about 1.5 million votes in the nationwide popular vote.)

This morning, Kerry trails by more than 125,000 votes in Ohio, and by about 3.5 million votes nationally, and refused to concede. What was it JFK said about Nixon in 1960? I believe it was "no class." Irony of ironies: now it applies to another JFK.

Have you ever thought that Kerry actually had any class to begin with. This is the man who said that the most important thing about his wife was her money...

I live in Ohio and never liked being called a "swing state". There has been no doubt in my mind that Bush would win and he would take Ohio. Unfortunately, the Kerry camp is going to ignore the statistical problem of provisional ballots (not anywhere close to the amount for him to win even if they were all validated AND for Kerry) and drag out this process again. If he had any sense of decency and respect for THE REST OF THE COUNTRY, he would concede NOW. Once again, a Democrat is all out for himself, forgetting that MILLIONS are counting on his concession so that we may move on.

What, have the demon-rats "move-on?" How could they, living in a parallel, paranoid universe?
