I’m all for the American process of voting. I exercise my right to vote as often as legally possible. But the way to address "issues" or "irregularities" in voting patterns is not to ask for a recount (which costs cash-strapped counties a lot of time and money and results in a lot of eye-rolling) but request the board of elections of each county follow-up on problems within their own counties. I talked to a woman in my county on her way to make sure there were no hanging chads (she was babysitting my daughter so I could run out and vote) on the paper ballots. What a hassle but bless her! she did her patriotic duty when called upon. Can we move on please? Count done, certified and in the history books. Get over it.
