Listen to the Teaching American History Podcast
Teaching American History Podcast
The Teaching American History Podcast is based on programs for teachers sponsored by the Ashbrook Center. These seminars are designed to encourage teachers to seriously examine significant events in American history in light of the principles of the American founding, and also to encourage the use of primary source materials in the classroom. The seminars, which include both lecture and discussion, are taught by leading scholars in their field from throughout the nation.

Waht a fabulous talk. I enjoyed it greatly. Two things: I didnt know that on 9-11, Bush was told the first airplane to hit the tower was a small single engine aircraft. Bush then penned a short statement to promise the total resources of the goverment to help with this "accident". To me, this flys in the face of the conspiracy nuts who believe Bush knew of this attack ahead of time. Also, I didnt know his pause, after being told America is under attack, was only 5 minutes, not the 7+ that Moore has us believe.
All in all a great talk. Thanks NLT for the link.
He certainly was an excellent speaker.
Hes a great writer as well. If you want an eye-opener, read his "How Al Gore Tried to Steal the Election." Ive been a fan of his ever since.
