The McCain Mutiny, Continued
Posted by Steven Hayward
Today John McCain wins the E.J. Dionne primary in the Washington Post. A sure sign, if onemore were needed, that McCains prospects as the Republican nominee in 08 are doomed. (Since when has E.J. Dionne ever had the best interests of Republicans in mind?)

John McCain, for some reason, reminds me of Huey Long, the Senator from Louisiana assassinated in 1939. I grew up in Louisiana, and both of my parents were living there during the 1930s. McCain seems to have the same basic brashness, narcissism, and greed, as well as the total lack of intellectual scruples as the "Hog". I dont find anything honorable in either his politics or his personality, and he can go to He$$ with my blessings, and with no regrets from this part of the nation.
Ive often thought that the Cong put the zap on his head while he was in the Hanoi Hilton.
