This quote, if accurate, should prevent anyone who utters it from ever becoming a judge at any level:
The Constitution is what the Supreme Court says it is.
Such a statement betrays a fundamental misunderstanding of the law and of the courts’ role in our society. I sincerely hope that if this was actually said, it was intended in a different manner than the listeners interpreted it.
