Absurd, yes -- except that the impulse behind this is powerful. Laughter is an appropriate response, but not an adequate one. We need to call this what it is: Fascism.
Hell, I wouldn’t call it fascism. I’d call it what it is...tyranny. And we should applaud this. The more the EU pushes to destroy its host cultures, the faster we (and they) will be shed of this absurd idea of a federated Europe.
