She certainly should be the person replacing Justice O’Connor.

It is interesting that you say that, Dr. Schramm. Although many of us support that, we are hearing (from the Judge’s own mouth) that she "does not want it." She hates Washington, she dislikes the spotlight, etc.

Bill, her husband, looks to be running for the Ohio House and has his sights set on being Speaker of the House. He was in the House for a long time before Term Limits ripped through the Legislature. He has the experience and the credentials to do it. Could be an interesting race (just north of Ashland), given that the wife of the current Representative (Charles Calvert), also chair of the Finance Committee (and therefore fundraising champ), has indicated an interest in replacing her husband. All of this should make for an interesting primary.
