All crunchy, all the time

I have an essay question, suggested by a friend: "Crunchies and South Parkers: cousins, enemies, or both?"

I would claim allies- for now. I’m a young guy and I thought Team America was hilarious and enjoy watching South Park. However, just because Trey Parker and Matt Stone (creators of South Park and Team America, among other things) hate political correctness and love making fun of it, they are rooted in a Libertarian foundation which is ultimately at odds with the Crunchies (that is, if I properly understand what Crunchies are).
I’m sure many of the Crunchies would be quite offended by the means which the South Park conservatives are using to combat their common enemy. Like I said, they’re allies, for now.
