Nothing "Happy" about "Happy Feet"

Or so says Michael Medved. And Im very disappointed because after loving The March of the Penguins my kids and I have been looking forward to this film coming out. It sounds so awful from Medveds review that I dont think well bother. Im renting Cars this weekend!

I talked to someone today who has seen it and really liked it. Medved may be overreacting. Or maybe my friend was underreacting.
I dont know but Ill let my other friends who insist on seeing it be the guinea pigs. Cars, by the way, was terrific if you havent seen it yet. I especially loved the tractor tipping.
It may be good, it may not, but why rely on someone elses opinion?
I usually agree with Medveds reviews on kids movies. I dont want to pay good money to have them scared and confused. It costs too much money to go to the theater in So. Cal. with two kids to be disappointed so (where we live it was upwards of $45 by the time we got the popcorn for the 4 of us to go!). If I hear anything different from other friends I trust, then Ill rent it and watch it myself before I let my kids watch it.
