The party of responsibility

This not particularly penetrating CT piece on the 2006 elections reminded me of Elizabeth Powerss FT post that calls our attention to William Saletans plea to the Democrats to become the party of responsibility by embracing an expansion of federally-funded birth control. If this isnt a double evasion of responsibility, then I dont know what is.

Joe, any thoughts or links on the claim made in the CT article that there are now 36 pro-life representatives in the House? A taxonomy of the different types of pro-life Dem reps would be interesting.
