In response to the crude expressions of religious bigotry that appeared on his magazine’s pages, John Judis of THE NEW REPUBLIC explains why we have nothing to fear from a Mormon president.

The New Republic in recent years has been quite blatant in its utter contempt for red America. That this should show itself even in terms of religious bigotry is no surprise. It has become a magazine that decent people ought to shun.
Frisk, should decent people also shun Fox News and the Washington Post? There has been plenty of contempt evinced there too. That is, if contempt alone is your issue.
The MSM is to be tolerated, not revered. Why anyone would worry about anyone else’s religion (except for Jihadi Islam) is beyond me.
