Just in time for Father’s Day, the ever sound Kathleen Parker offers us yet another read on the barometer measuring the decline of respect for fatherhood.
Julie, thanks for all these Father's Day posts. It never really bothered me that I was a father in a father-depriving culture, but there were moments when I missed the tacit respect I imagined from aristocratic times. Anyway, to all the younger readers out there looking to be manly, there's really nothing like being a father.
Even better is being a grandfather! #4 is due in a few weeks.
Julie, wrote a response to your long comment in the media thread. Happy Fathers Day to the father in your family. We're off to the beach tomorrow for the weekend.
Happy Father's Day to all of the fathers on NLT!
Thanks Robert. I responded to yours as well. If we keep going on this theme, I'll start another thread.
