The Los Angeles Times is nearly defunct as a newspaper these days, but once and a while it rises to the occasion, such as today’s Paris Hilton Prison Diary.
Maybe, do not free Paris quite yet. Her inculterating incarceration might not be efficacious unless it is as long as the occupation of the other Paris. Who knew American detention facilities were so beneficial to the soul? Is it part of the penitentiary system?
Oh, that it were true!
Maybe Paris can't help it Kate. Think of who she's named after. Remember that funniest scene of the Iliad, where Paris has agreed to go mano a mano with Menelaus to end the war, and Ares whisks him magically off the battlefield to bed with Helen back in Troy? The thread on the RAF pilots reminded me of this.
According to The Drudge Report, Paris IS free, magically whisked off her battlefield to her own bed. The story is not one I would have followed, but for this thread. She sounds as much a pain as her namesake.
Woops! No gods for this Paris--only a hanging judge. Tis' all a pity.
