Allen Guelzo on the Daily Show
Allen Guelzo talks about his book Lincoln and Douglas: The Debates that Defined America on Jon Stewart’s "Daily Show". Informative and hilarious. Stewart’s set-up questions are just too funny: e.g., a query about the role of technology in the debates. Enjoy!

Listen to the "You Americans" Podcast
Peter Schramm's "You Americans" Podcast
Peter Schramm was born American, but in the wrong place. His conversations are meant to enlighten, edify and even amuse you Americans! He talks with interesting and thoughtful (and sometimes well-known) people about American politics and what Mark Twain called the nation's temperament.

It was a delightful exchange between jovial intellectual and comedian. Guelzo did his best to relate it to today's political debates and inform the audience without being a pedantic professor. Guelzo reminds me a bit of Kelsey Grammar.
Allen did very well but I must say that I wish he had worn his Civil War cap that he is so fond of.
