Obama as Anti-Lincoln, Now in Song

From the indispensable
Wheat&Weeds
, a lyrical accompaniment to
my deadly earnest thesis below
about Obama as the anti-Lincoln.

So what are we to make of Obama’s proposal for a "civilian national security force" ? Is this like Jefferson’s First Inaugural reference to a united people being the best security of the new nation? Or is this a praetorian guard for Obama, presumably recruited from the inner cities? The former possibility makes no sense given what Obama says about funding it.

I'll tell you what, Ken - if you're willing to admit how totally wrong you were about this particular issue by 2010 (a fair time period), I'll buy you a bottle of nice Kentucky bourbon. I'll remember. Moser and Knippenberg know how to get in touch with me.

I am unsure what Obama means by "civilian national security force" but believe I should assume the worst, for now. Obama is not interested in being a black Bill Clinton, just another liberal Democrat. He is smarter and more determined, as his books show. More on this later.

At any rate, the election is not "signed, sealed, delivered."

The reference to the military and national security indicate that he is talking about the State Department.
