I've not been a big fan of Jon Stewart since he stopped being funny during the Bush-Kerry election, but sometimes he strikes gold - such as his take on Olbermann's meltdown over Brown's victory in Mass.
I agree that mockery is the good antiseptic for Leftist "worms in the head" bile, but I didn't find this especially funny. If any pundit on the Right had said something even close to that, can you imagine the outrage? No, even Stewart is employing a vicious double-standard here. Mr. Olbermann should be sued for slander forthwith.
Oh, please! While I am no big fan of Stewart, the piece is mildly amusing, and, after all, what could be funnier than Olbermann himself? Lawsuits are not the answer, they only add money to the coffers of the largest supporters of Democrat campaigns, trial lawyers.
Don't like Olbermann? - change the channel (like millions have), Don't like liberals? - vote them out (like thousands have, and hopefully, will!)
Conservatives need to hold on to their sense of humor and proportion, or we will soon be on the fast track to the kind of uber-serious, hyper-sensitive, crisis mode that liberals wallow in every day! I am sure Brown is laughing all the way to the Capitol.
