Now THIS Is Going Too Far

Looks like the anti-smoking Nazis have succeeded where the Third Reich Nazis (head man an anti-smoker, recall) failed: they've airbrushed the cigar from Churchill's mouth.

If I run into one of the clowns who did this, they'll get something in their mouth from me.  It won't be a cigar.

From the article:

"So just who did pinch the great man's Havana?

It wasn't the anti-smoking lobby, which has had no known contact with the museum; it certainly wasn't Churchill's family - his grandson Nicholas Soames said 'it doesn't matter one way or the other'; and it wasn't the museum itself - in fact it's got wartime posters advertising cigarettes on the walls."

Always glad you're on the job, Craig, and off the streets.

(You used that "off the streets" line before.)

Craig: You know you keep better track of me than my mother? Should I look be looking up Ohio stalking statutes?

Ha-ha, Steve. You write things on a public blog and I remember them? If you think that even remotely qualifies as "stalking" in some way, go for it.

And in this case, I just read the article that you linked to!

I'm with you, Steve. No airbrushing here. It's not yet 6 am, and I just polished off my first Fonseca of the day. Winston was a good man!
