Palin

Pundits have gotten a case of the vapors over Sarah Palin's latest youtube video. Take a look below. It does seem to be a campaign video - but then again, if it's just Palin's way of staying relevant and in the news, it's working. As long as people are talking about whether she'll run, she has a platform from which to speak. I hope Palin is just staying in the spotlight. Her candidacy would be problematic (to say the least), but her message is a good one.

Palin would be good for the Romney campaign(who is otherwise going to lose to Perry).

I think Romney would be willing to offer Palin the VP slot as a guarantee if he won, just for entering.

At the very least a Palin entry would kill the media time slot that Perry played so well. (which is why Bachmann was furious at Perry and did not introduce him or mention him when he showed up with her in Iowa.)

Romney needs to stop Perry's buzz momentum.

It doesn't seem like a campaign video. The first two thirds of the video are spent on how exciting and newsworthy her personality is. Public issues only come into view towards the end. It is more like the trailer for a concert film or (yes) a reality show.

The woman as the ability to send the media into a complete frenzy that lasts for days. When you have that much power, who needs to be President of the United States. Go Sarah. Keep them fuming.

Is Palin the conservative Obama? She hits all the right parts of the conservative psyche and, from the conservative perspective, the same is true of her effect on the liberal psyche.

I am a conservative and when Obama speaks, I turn him off. He is the most boring, unintelligent, narcisstic person in politics and really not worth my time or energy.
