President Obama edified the country today when he
told us that "Ultimately, I'm confident that the Supreme Court will not take what
would be an unprecedented, extraordinary step of overturning a law that
was passed by a strong majority of a democratically elected Congress."
If he wasn't a former constitutional law professor, I would point out one could maybe find precedent for a l
aw passed by a strong majority of a democratically elected Congress that was
overturned by the Supreme Court.
