Frist Helps Injured in Accident
Posted by Peter W. Schramm
Senator Frist was driving along in Florida, noticed an accident (a car rolled over; please note that it was an Isuzu Rodeo!) and got out to help, and help he did. It is amazing that something like this would happen to Frist just a few days before the new Senate meets. His opponents are going to have a tough time making him into an Iago-like figure (which they have been working on).

I would doubt very much that mainstream press will ballyhoo this story with anything more than a big yawn. Were it Edwards in the spot where Frisk was, doe-eyed reporters would be proclaiming the Second Coming.
Which is good for Frist really. Many times these ballyhooed stories turn on the hero, and devour the hero. Sometimes its self-inflicted immolation, sometimes envy stricks her mortal blows.
It is good that the media hates conservatives: It keeps us on our toes.
Goodbye, Mr. Frist!
Get ready folks, a new Senate Majority Leader cometh...
Frist acknowledged in a 1989 book that he routinely killed cats while an ambitious medical student at Harvard Medical School in the 1970s.
Mr. Lamb, you are right, of course. I looked at a number of news shows last night and there was only one mention (CNBC, I think) of the Frist episode and it lasted only seconds, with no elaboration. Perfect.
