Limbaugh spent considerable time on this story, today. What I heard Rush saying was exactly the very same thing he chastizes conservatives for all the time: namely losing faith in the GOP leadership to lead.

Laying aside the particular issue for a moment, I wonder if this fear isn’t the Achilles’ heel the GOP! Granted, fear always is the chief obstacle to victory. And it is ever present as is sheer human nature... but there is just something deeply unsettling about how the rank and file so eagerly jump at the slightest sound in the dark of night.
