Well, I’m being cautiously optimistic. This hasn’t been the best year for Armstrong. He’s taken some nasty spills off his bike, has been ill a number of times, and is in the midst of a divorce. All of that said, his opponents say he’s stronger than ever.

Interestingly, Armstrong has already gone on record as saying that his goal is six. The reason is that there are four other men who’ve won the TdF five times, though none have won it four years in a row.
