Californias McClintock
Posted by Mickey Craig
Bill Whelan reports on California State Senator Tom McClintock in the latest Weekly Standard. Whelan argues that McClintock is now the key man in the race. He can cost Arnold the Governors house. McClintock is the only true conservative in the race and it seems he has a stubborn streak.

Mickey:
I know Tom quite well from my days in Sacramento with the old Golden State Project (and of course he worked at the Clarmeont Institute for two years when he was out of the legislature). He is indeed very stubborn; that is one of his virtues. His heroes are Lincoln and Churchill, and his knowledge of them is not superficial. He deserves support until Arnold shows some seriousness about a few basic principles. He made a good start at that in his press conference last week, but it is to everyones advantage for McClintock to stay in for several more weeks to bring pressure to bear on Arnold (or to pick up the standard if Arnold blunders).
Mr. Hayward: I enjoyed your book on Chuchill and Executive Leadership.
Churchill gave half of Europe away, and was a 33 degree mason which is dedicated to a New World Order. Prayer was taken out of the schools when the supreme court had all masonic judges. McClintock comes from a pro-war party which has lied to the American people. I would not vote for him or Arnold. Bustamante and Grey are not much better, thus I will vote for Tremlin who has foster mothered over 65 children. I dont think I can trust the Republican party, and the fact they would run liberal Arnold, and Pat Robertson endorsed him, all seems like monkey politics to me.
