Much has been written over at The Corner about the abortion march this past weekend. One quote is simply too good not to pass along. Kathryn Lopez reports that Rep. Maxine Waters told the crowd: “I have to march because my mother could not have an abortion.” With quotes like these, I dont even need to offer a punchline.

My wife - wonderful mother of two beautiful children - was disgusted at the march. She commented that it was a human disgrace that these people committed so much effort and energy into the destruction of human life. She was also greatly saddened that women would march for aborting the fruits of their love-making. What had been a beautiful gift from above is now a ruined, abused denigration of life - one in which women participate. What a world!
Tony, you and your wife are so right. I grieve that so many people in our world throw away life in so many different ways. One of the greatest tragedies of today is that women fight over one of the most beautiful things created - the right to give life.
