Howell Raines on Kerry

Howell Raines, the former editor of The New York Times arites a revealing article on the London Guardian. He beats up on Kerry, on Bush, on the free market system, and on America as a whole. Although it is amusing that he bashes Kerry, etc., the fact is that this guy is a real Left Winger. That he was editor of the paper of record is simply amazing.

Wow, thanks for link. Talk about out of touch with reality, imo. I didnt realize I was a republican due to my greed and crap-shooting for prosperity.
I think that article is amazing. It can be boiled down to this: "I think Kerry is a scmuck, but if he can fool enough people about who he is and what he stands for, he can win. And that’s all that matters." No wonder Jayson Blair could work for that man for so long.
Every liberal or moderate who disbelieves in media bias should read this column by Raines. Its cynicism should be an eye-opener for the blind.
