Good-bye to a blogger

The Horserace Blog is signing off. He covered the election and now that the horse race is over so is his blog. Be sure to read his essays (Election Analysis Part I and Part II), a few clicks down. He says he is too busy preparing for his qualification exams to continue. We thank him for a great and useful effort. Good luck!

as a fellow chicagoan that has worked in many political campaigns in chicago against the old dem machine, i thank you for your help in understanding what just happened. if it wasnt for you, i would have had a much harder time getting through election day without going beserk. you analysis was inteligent and incitefull, and i greatly appreciate you knowledge of statistics and polls . this is what the internet is supposed to be about, and this is what citizenship is supposed to bring forth. you are a true scholar and a good citizen. again, thank you and good luck.
Jay Cost was the clear thinking "Rock of Gibraltar" during the early afternoon exit polling hoax that had almost everyone wetting their pants (especially the NRO crew at the Corner).
