To toot my horn a bit here, in the service of another, I would like to give credit to electoral-vote.com. His daily compilation and sifting of both national and state polls helped me conclude that Bush would beat Kerry 287-251 (I missed Hawaii, New Hampshire, and Iowa). His pre-election postings were anonymous until the day of the election, when he revealed he was a Democratic, ex-pat computer prof plying his trade overseas.
