Picking up where Peter left off on the power of the blogs versus the MSM, you might check out Hugh Hewitt’s new book Blog: Understanding the Information Reformation That’s Changing Your World. On the strength of several good reviews across the blogosphere, I ordered it for my dad for his upcoming birthday. Here’s the link to his website and the order information. The book explains how the blogs are changing NOT ONLY the way the news and politics are reported but they are also changing the balance of power in society. This is why the MSM is so enraged by the bloggers. I got it for my dad because he’s in business and advertising/marketing. I think this industry is going to be especially impacted by the blogs--maybe even more so than ours.

Great - forget journalism, let the propaganda rule. Let’s all turn to blogs - get serious. Nothing would polarize our society more. I followed your link. I like the ad for Weekly Standard (edited by Bill Kristol?) C’mon - blogs are nothing more than editorials and chat rooms, which is fine - but they should not replace journalism.
