Strengthening Constitutional Self-Government

No Left Turns

Ralph Reed...

is running for Lieutenant Governor of Georgia. The newspapers will hate him. There are some Republicans who really dislike him, and this story suggests that the primary will not be a cakewalk.

The Republican party, even in Georgia, needs every smart fighter it can get to run for office, and every fighting smart guy. Reed fits the description
and is a strong conservative to boot.

If he appears likely to have strong primary opposition, that’s just further testament to the GOP’s lamentable tendancy toward factionalism and selfishness.
We need to become a disciplined team that is serious about winning. The times and the nature of our opponents demand no less.
