looks at the German magazine Sterns view of America through pictures (translations supplied). Amusing and useful, as No-Pasaran says, it is revealing of Europeans sophisticated and nuanced view of America!

So long as they continue to deliver spares for my elderly Mercedes in a timely fashion, I dont much care what eurosocilist Germans think of America. Or wheather they think of it at all...
I lived in Germany for 3 years, and this is spot on about how they feel about us. Stern LOVES to run lurid investigative articles about Hatfield and McCoy wars between Arkansas funeral homes and that sort of thing.
That said, when the Germans HAD convictions and national will, it turned out bad for everybody. Count me as happy theyre morally castrated.
I agree with Clay. The Germans have killed enough innocent people to sit out history for a least a few more decades.
It's great that we are able to get the credit loans and this opens up new chances.
