I watched CNN inteview Arianna Huffington this morning about her new site, which includes a blog, written mostly by Lefties from Hollywood.
I couldnt figure out what thew big deal was. Why interview a blogger, indeed, a would be blogger? Well, I guess it turns out that if you have some sort of gimmick, and are on the Left, CNN will get sloppy friendly with you and push your product, even if you havent proven yourself. Her site is
called the Huffington Post. You may want to check it out. Its pretty cool looking, but I dont see how much of Ellen DeGeneres and Tina Brown I can read without having a stiff drink!
They printed one of my comments, but not the one where I asked how A.H. drove her husband Gay.
Funny stuff Wallis...for a junior high locker room.
Seriously. There are plenty of things to criticize about this hella lame blog and its attention-starved founder without having to resort to comments like that.
Been a while since Ive posted, and I appreciated seeing Stark and Ashland Guys posts trying to keep it civil.
Joe Scarborough was on the site following up on a Joe Corzine Sudan post. I think there may be some good stuff posted at Huffingtons blog. Just because she doesnt have the "blog cred" Mr. Schramm is looking for doesnt mean she is one to be discredited. Huffington is a nationally syndicated columnist and author of ten books, as well as became President of the Cambridge Union debating society. Are we disgusted with the CNN coverage of the blogs launch? I missed the interview, so Im not really familiar with the context. I do, however, know that Huffington does a great job of trying to cover both sides of the aisle.
Anywhoo...its nice to be back!
