African Aid

I thought this was an amazing admission for an MSM article on the problem with African aid. Of course, the economist pointing out the problem is from an African think tank--so I guess he carries more weight than conservatives in this country. But I fear what is going on here may be something more--a damned if you do and damned if you don’t scenario for Bush. Since it’s fairly well known now that Bush has given more aid to Africa than any president in recent memory, are they setting him up to be criticized for this as well?

When you ask "are they setting him up to be criticized for this as well?," who do you mean by "they"??

She means "them," the Limocrats and their MSM allies. Who else?

In my opinion, aid in Africa should be targeted to a few countries that have a chance (i.e., have a government that is only semi-corrupt) to use it for the benefit of the people. This would provide a "demonstration project" and might encourage other African nations to follow suit (in terms of political and economic reforem).
