Corzine’s Future

From the looks of this long article, Jon Corzine’s run for New Jersey governor this year is just a prelude to running for president.

Corzine is kidding himself if he thinks that he has any chance of becoming President.
I agree, but politicians are very very good at kidding themselves. Note that late in the article Corzine is said to talk openly of the prospect of running for prez. Combine that with the fact that hes always been a huge success at whatever hes tried and it is easy to see how he could think this.
Not that big of a success in politics. He outspent a relatively unpopular opponent 11-to-1 and still only won the the skin of his teeth. And he did that in a state where his party dominates. Not a very strong showing for someone who thinks he should be coronated.
