Lesson Plans on World War II

Some of you might know that I’ve been directing a three-year project for the National Endowment for the Humanities, designing lesson plans on U.S. history as part of EDSITEment, the NEH’s site for teachers. I’m happy to report that the first set of lessons designed under this project have been posted. The title is "The Proper Application of Overwhelming Force", and it deals with the military history of U.S. involvement in World War II.

If there are any high school teachers reading this, I’d like to hear what you think. I hope you’ll also consider using these lessons in your classrooms.

I think they are a work of genius...but then I may be a bit biased...
