Judge John G. Roberts, Jr., has been confirmed by the Senate to be next Chief Justice of the U.S. The vote was 78-22.

Since everyone agrees he is qualified, I guess this means that for 22 Democrat Senators the rules mean nothing. The GOP needs to get off its collective keister and play hardball with these Jacobins...and Bush’s loss of the veto stamp and general lack of domestic leadership on conservative issues is growing tiresome.
