James Piereson has a long piece called "The Left University" in the current Weekly Standard. It is very good. I may have a comment or two on it after the mandatory re-reading of a serious piece.

Fascinating article. I wonder, too, if the rise of the Left University explains why male enrollment in colleges and universities has declined so sharply. Female enrollment has outpaced male enrollment since 1989 but it has now reached an all time high of 60% female, 40% male.
