It’s unfortunate Arnold is vetoing the bill. As a conservative, I truly honor a loving relationship between two consenting adults, regardless of their gender. What this country needs today is more honest, strong, trusting relationships. It certainly isn’t destructive for homosexuals to be given their full, equal rights. It hurts nobody and it’s long over due. I see the abominable heterosexual divorce rate and children being born to unwed parents to be far more of a threat to the institution of marriage in this country. Hopefully, the fuss over all this will be over when the federal Defense of Marriage Act is ruled unconstitutional and all Americans are valued and respected in our society.
