Broken Army

Here is an Illinois National Guardsman’s response to Rep. Murtha’s "broken Army" comments. Short and to the point. (via Instapundit).

Exactly what needs to be said to this pompous old windbag, and from exactly the right source.
Honorable service in a long-ago war is no proof against stupidity, arrogance, or indeed anything else. Murthas status as a veteran should not protect
him from an appropriately harsh reaction on this life-and-death issue.
What matters in this context is whether hes 1) reasonable; and 2) right.
Republicans too often respect sacred cows. It is time to slaughter some, so to speak.
