Turns out a defense intelligence specialist predicted the rise of Islamic radicalism. In 1946. It was classified then. Perhaps we should regard its author as "Mr. Y" to go with Kennan’s "Mr. X."

Wow. Good stuff, but now what do we do with it?
We educate them...and not 15,000 boola boola mullahs, we close the madrassas, or more accurately we get them to close the madrassas, and begin their western, liberal, tolerant educations at the age of 4. Not one word of jihad on pain of getting their tongues cut out...or something.
