I went to the site, found the article by author, went to that page, mechanically copied the URL from the bar at the top of the screen with my mouse (right button, click) and pasted it into "Link to Another Web Page" on this page.
Works for me now too. The first few times I visited the site, all that was ever in my address box was the general url.
