A powerfully condemning column, which rings true locally. My Archbishop has been called a "mealy-mouthed careerist." "Mealy-mouthed" by me; "careerist" by my excellent priest/pastor. Mr. Myers accurately and damnably describes what I see, and lament, in my local episcopal leader.
A friend approached our Archbishop at a public function in the past several days. My friend is NOT known for his subtlety or tact. He asked the Abshp "Whats all this s**t the Muslims are giving our Pope?" The Abshp, clearly uncomfortable, stammered, "Its certainly a difficult and confusing situation." Feed.....my sheep.
